The central portion of the front wing is believed to be diving closer to the ground while in motion and/or under braking or under load in the corners. This if true, gives some tangible downforce improvements.

Quote:Article 3.15 of the F1 technical regulations states that bodywork that affects the aerodynamic performance of the car: "must be rigidly secured to the entirely sprung part of the car (rigidly secured means not having any degree of freedom)" and "must remain immobile in relation to the sprung part of the car."

The catch here is that the central portion could may well be very rigid to he sprung part of the car but the 'whole thing' bends down, so in a way in relation to the sprung part, the central part doesn't deviate from the sprung part but to the ground or the reference plan the whole thing may well be bending a bit down wards.

And there are no specific tests to check central section if it is indeed bending even in relation to the sprung part.

Quick fix is to introduce a test, and/or clarify the loop hole of the whole thing bending downwards in anyway.

The later is hard as a fuel loaded cars bank and bend in all directions under load. This cant be quantified or measured as to what is right and what is wrong.

So the former option to have a new load test is the best course of action.

Massa was obviously going to win as he was always a tenth or two faster pacing ahead but that team order "Felipe Alonso is faster can you confirm" was clear enough to ask him to move over.

Not the best way to win, but for the title sakes they will do it now, but there is no logic in doing it now since Massa was racing and he is mathematically still in the title fight himself.

Redbull wasnt having the speed to beat Ferrari they were both evenly matched on this track it was a matter of who got the first corner Massa did. As its a short track and doesnt have enough features to play into Redbull's strength. On a longer track the advantages would have been the same as before. So Ferrari finally made use of a rare chance that will not be available for a while now as we are heading back to Mclaren-Redbull favored tracks.

But this move to make Massa to let Alonso through may prove of little use when they go to the other tracks. A bit excessive to ask Massa to give up what was clearly his race to win.

Let see if they can make this count in the end. If not this is will be a very bad way to rob a driver of their win as this is not the final few races of the season.

And Alonso was a acting a bit cheap when he said on the radio Massa was "ridiculous" he did nothing wrong, defend his position not letting Alonso through no running off or anything just plain denying any openings.

Vettel takes it again but this track seems to suit the Ferrari more for once and Redbull dont have the advantage but Vettel pulled a phenomenal lap to beat the Ferrari. Ferrari better make use of this chance they wont be getting many of this brakes.
But the race will be a different story, Mclaren have always set their cars for the race trims very well. And the slow starts of Alonso of late can play into those behind.

Liuzzi had a normal twitch due to change in traction over the artificial grass patch especially since it was a little wet, good that he is ok but the crash was not as hard as it may have looked.

Quote:That was in Formula 1 never: BILD am SONNTAG all current drivers, an envelope with six questions was pressed into his hand and promised that the answers will be treated anonymously.

Currently 20 of the 24 drivers (only Williams and Renault refused) have responded. It was the most honest survey of Formula 1 And the result is sensational and full of surprises.

The best driver of all time was elected by a large margin Ayrton Senna. The three-time world champion from Brazil, on 1 May 1994 was killed at Imola, was 12 of 20 votes. Second was a record-Champion Michael Schumacher (seven titles).

Surprise in the category "Best active driver": Here was the Spanish pilot Fernando Alonso Ferrari significantly forward.

To the "gnarliest rider" chose the mate Lewis Hamilton (McLaren).

The "most dangerous course" explained the 20 drivers to the glamorous city course of Monaco. And who is world champion in 2010? That was close: 8 of 20 pilots believe that Hamilton makes the race before Vettel (6 votes).

The funniest answer - though not serious, there was in the category "The most beautiful woman": A driver chose Silver Arrow driver Nico Rosberg ... Oh yes, most go to the French TV reporter Marion Jolles (28).

And Ferrari doesn't deny it either they have now come clean that they took it upon themselves to ignore the FIA advice. Hence they got the penalty. Serves them idiots right.

They are the ones ruining Alonso's chances everytime apart from ome of Alonso's costly mistakes. Perhaps Alonso needs to cut short this deal with these monkeys and leave them for a better team that can actually execute strategy and play smart. The prancing donkeys are a waste of time now.

Disastrous race for Vettel and Alonso. Vettel's tyres got clipped by the vile pig shamilton. But Webber got the better start.

Just like I warned about the fast starting Mclarens, right off the bat shitmilton got a good run ahead of Alonso. But his problems didnt end there because of the poor line he got passed by Nico Roseberg and Kubica.

Vettel was thundering down the track with that pace, he drove a superb race even if he didnt win, that was a awesome display of sheer grit in his overtakes.

Alonso deserved a penalty but not a drive through, but he brought it on himself when he cut the track to overtake Kubica, kubica closed the door and alonso decided to go on anyway which is his choice but that ensures he ends up on the grass. All he had to do was give back that position immediately and none of this would have happened. But no, he decided to keep it and Ferrari were idiots as usual they never asked Alonso to give it back either. Kubica retired but the rules are the rules you dont cut tracks to race. So he got a penalty but the choice of a drive though is a tab bit harsh. Think Nigel 'Fatso Arshole' Mansel.

Damon hill - arshole who took his old hate towards shoelicker
Now its Nigel Mansell is around - more british arslicking goes on, go figure.

Mark is obviously pissed when he said "not bad for a number two driver"
Horner "You can smile now"

But Webber will be mindful he has been outclassed for grit by vettel, even if he won, had shitmilton not clipped him at the start they would have gone wheel to wheel to take the fight to Webber. But Webber was superb in his race and he deserved the win thoroughly.

Alonso clipped Massa's tyres at the start as it appears.

Button drove well to recover from 14th and Mclaren showed their are better equipped for the race pace in every event even if the qualifying was not 100% ready fumbling with upgrades.

Meanwhile Ferrari might be best served considering coming up with an upgrade that actually is worth talking about not just press releases and asking their drivers to be canaries.

Redbull destroyed everyone as expected, they had simply too much in reserve. Ferrari were flattered by Mclaren's shenanigans swaping upgrades for the older package with little time to work on setups. Ferrari are still around 1 second slower to the Redbull just like it was in Barcelona.

Shitmilton is right behind alonso, It will take alonso on the first corner as the starts have all been good for Mclaren or shitmitlon will pull the "no one passes me on the outside I am the master later braker" bullshit that could result in an incident.
This is the worst place to be in especially with a ribid creature right behind you.
Alonso was saying "bye bye go home" when the trio grouped to waved to the crowds before heading for the press conference.
