Disastrous race for Vettel and Alonso. Vettel's tyres got clipped by the vile pig shamilton. But Webber got the better start.
Just like I warned about the fast starting Mclarens, right off the bat shitmilton got a good run ahead of Alonso. But his problems didnt end there because of the poor line he got passed by Nico Roseberg and Kubica.
Vettel was thundering down the track with that pace, he drove a superb race even if he didnt win, that was a awesome display of sheer grit in his overtakes.
Alonso deserved a penalty but not a drive through, but he brought it on himself when he cut the track to overtake Kubica, kubica closed the door and alonso decided to go on anyway which is his choice but that ensures he ends up on the grass. All he had to do was give back that position immediately and none of this would have happened. But no, he decided to keep it and Ferrari were idiots as usual they never asked Alonso to give it back either. Kubica retired but the rules are the rules you dont cut tracks to race. So he got a penalty but the choice of a drive though is a tab bit harsh. Think Nigel 'Fatso Arshole' Mansel.
Damon hill - arshole who took his old hate towards shoelicker
Now its Nigel Mansell is around - more british arslicking goes on, go figure.
Mark is obviously pissed when he said "not bad for a number two driver"
Horner "You can smile now"
But Webber will be mindful he has been outclassed for grit by vettel, even if he won, had shitmilton not clipped him at the start they would have gone wheel to wheel to take the fight to Webber. But Webber was superb in his race and he deserved the win thoroughly.
Alonso clipped Massa's tyres at the start as it appears.
Button drove well to recover from 14th and Mclaren showed their are better equipped for the race pace in every event even if the qualifying was not 100% ready fumbling with upgrades.
Meanwhile Ferrari might be best served considering coming up with an upgrade that actually is worth talking about not just press releases and asking their drivers to be canaries.
damn it, if only Fernando could have just give a way the place to Kubica immediately, he could have get better position today as am pretty much sure he can overtake Kubica again even after he give back the place. How wasted.
Alonso accepts British GP penalty
Quote:"I accept everything they do. They are the judges," Alonso told Spanish television after the race.
"You can just say one thing: if a penalty must be punishing it must be always like this," said the Italian team.
"This is just the halfway point of the season, so all the points that we have lost in this first half is because we haven't done things as well as the others," he said.
"So in the second half of the championship we are going to try to do better than the others and recover one point more than what they have now.
"The season is very long and we are not going to give up."
Alonso: No regrets over Kubica move
Quote:"I think we did what we had to do and I don't think we had to change anything," Alonso told Spanish reporters after finishing outside of the points at Silverstone.
"There will be a lot of opinions from people watching on TV while having a beer, saying we should have let Kubica by in a moment when, first, there was nothing to do - if there'd had been a wall instead of grass I would have crashed against it and they would have penalised Kubica most likely.
"So it depends on how you look at it. We thought it was fine. A few laps passed and there were no news and then if we had wanted to let him by, Kubica had retired already so there was nothing to change."
"The criteria is the same for everybody," he said. "The stewards look closely at all the incidents of the race and they always make the decision they think is the right one."
When asked if he felt the penalty was fair, he said: "It's always fair."
Good job for Webber

great to see him in today but damn the FIA brought the SCD again that seem to looks like bias to Mclaren.

When Hamilton gets a penalty it doesn't affect him at at all, but when Alonso is issued a driver-through it comes at the worst possible time. Seems Alonso and Ferrari alsways get caught out with Safety Cars.
Just what's happening with Alonso and Ferrari this season? I sit before every race expecting Alonso to come up with at least a podium finish. But either he'll have a bad start or a jump start, have his engine blow, get a penalty at the worst possible time, or come up with some backfiring moves. Maybe I shouldn't have expected too much at the beginning of this season. Had so much expectation after the promising pre-season testing pace and the Bahrain win. Thought those uncompetitive Renault years were behind him. How wrong I was !
As every race begins now I am more and more negative in my hopes for the grand prix. Alonso, again, had a very bad start which ultimately led to him fighting Bob Kubica and the penalty. Unfortunately (again) Alonso has no-one to blame but himself, as much as I have undying support for him and have done for many years he is really doing this to himself and there are no excuses.
The penalty was harsh to say the least and the fact that it was given seconds before the safety car was another terrible error by the FIA (who are now called the Federation Impeding Alonso!!). He should have given the place back straight away - that's the rule, but to penalise a driver after the other driver retires from the race is unacceptable, stupid and a huge misjudgement.
Well done to Barrichello, Kobayasi and Rosberg for great drives and to Button for making up 10 places. I am not a fan of Mark Webber at all, he is dangerous and impetuous, but I am glad he won today after the disgraceful treatment of him by his team yesterday.
This is the first British Grand Prix I have not attended in 8 years and in a way I'm glad I didn't go.
I think you didn't attend the right race... Lucky you...

I agree with you! The right thing would be to let him pass, but he just follows team orders. If the team didn't tell him anything, then he couldn't do what he wanted. So the blame is more to Ferrari from this perspective. And to TitusTravancore yes, I had bigh expectations as well after that bahrein win... But that was the first and possibly the last win for Ferrari this year....
Maranellored FIA lol

Nice meaning at the letters! At the past it used to mean Ferrari International Assistance... back at Schumi's time... Now things have changed.... a lot.
Did Ferrari ask him to not to let Kubica pass? As far as am concern, after the pass, Fernando told the team he was given no room and he run wide, i didnt hear that the team ask him to not to pass.

am i miss anything here

I wonder if Jean Todt's position as Federation Impeding Alonso's President has anything to do with the harsh penalties on Ferrari? He must surely want to distance himself from his previous team and won't want to be seen as favouring them.....
A consipracy theory I know but it's fun to theorise!!
No jenni! I didn't even hear angry Fernando saying: NO MORE TALKING UNTIL THE END OF THE RACE!!! (by the way if you find a video with that radio talk between Ferrari and Fernando i would like to hear it...) Our broadcast os AWFUL! I just thought that if Ferrari told him to let Kubica pass, he would have done so, right???
And I haven't thought of that.... Jean Todt at FIA...

You may be right there...

The penalty and the timing of the Safety Car really seemed unjust. Strangely though, Alonso himself isn't complaining ! He isn't even regretting not letting Kubica past! Arrogance, pride or something else? He isn't saying passing Kubica was wrong, but supporting the penalty given to him probably implies that he truly considers the Kubica move wrong. But since he complained Kubica pushed him to the grass, I thought he might get started on an FIA attacking spree again.

Why should toad consider as part of this

,when the incident happen, it is all up to the Stewards and the guess judge to decide, toad was not there.

i dont think he has much influence on this though

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I'm seriously getting sick of this shit

About the penalty and the FIA decision? Do you think that pass was right? i wish to hear from you

No, I know the pass was wrong, I was screaming at him to let Kubica back past again (had flashbacks of him and Klien back in Suzuka 05) coz I knew there was a penalty coming one way or another
But to have the SC come out when it did.......it's just so unfair...when Hamilton broke the rules, the punishment didn't fit the crime because the punishment was not severe enough....when our boy broke the rules, the punishment didn't fit the crime because the punishment was too severe - I'm really starting to believe there is no justice in this world

Bias, what else can we said? it was a clear BIAS! first they taken so long for investigate the case, and then hand over the penalty just when the SCD about to be deployed ( i dont know if they are fortune teller

) but ya IT IS bias!

I don't usually go for conspiracy theories but this one I may be able to believe....that was just too unfortunate

Firstly, Chrissie I was telling him the same thing!!! lol ''Let him pass!! Let him pass!!! Otherwise you will have a penalty!!!!'' maybe we should go to work at Ferrari...We would take better decisions...
Secondly, drivers can do their drive-through whenever they want, so I don't think it was biased... He could do the drive-through at the end of the race. Taking them so long to decide...that's suspicious!
I thought drivers have three laps in which to do their drive-through no???
Otherwise surely they would have waited for the cars to start spreading out again??
Three laps?? Have I missed that rule??? Cause in the past drivers did it whenever they wanted.
Yep here it is:
Quote:In the case of the drive-through penalty and the ten-second time penalty, a driver has three laps, from the time his team is notified, to enter the pits (failure to do so may result in a black flag and the driver being excluded from the race).
