Massa has something to said ..

Massa expects best start in years

Quote:"I am very happy and very motivated that we can start the championship in a better way not just than last year, which was not a very good year, but also than the other championships," he told the official Ferrari website.

"It looks like we are in good condition to start the championship with a good car and a reliable car, which is good for the start of the season. It's good to think about the points straight away."

While not being certain Ferrari will win in Bahrain this weekend, Massa is confident it will leave Sakhir with a strong points haul.

"My expectation is definitely to score many points," he said. "Even if maybe we don't know if it will be possible to win, it will be important to start the championship in the right direction. That's our expectation and that's what we're looking for."

But he added that he was staying calm about Ferrari's chances and not underestimating the strength of the competition despite his encouraging testing results.

"The feeling is good, but for sure feet on the ground, because we know we are going to have a very difficult championship," Massa said. "There are a lot of good cars, good teams and good drivers.

"But I can say that the feeling is really, really good. What we did in the winter tests was always very positive. Our car and our team were very competitive.

"I think it shows that we have a car ready to start the season. But we have to work every day to improve the situation and improve the car race by race to be at the top. But I'm very motivated."

Time will prove just how right Massa confident level is...
i just hope there will be no dust this weekend coz the dust here is soooooooo bad

and hope we'll see a great start for the season :)
We'll see these claims by various driver are becoming rather boring because we hear every team say this and say this every year.

Ooh, tomorrow's press conference looks interesting W00t
WOWWWW MS? FA? FM? PIG? and JB? WOW the best line up EVER in PC this is going to be more interesting than Trulli VS Sutil PC LMAO
Jacques Villenueve is going to be in the BBC commentry box, looking forward to some Fernando praising and shamilton degrading now. Hmmm He wont last long with them because of that.

More here
Ah no, Crofty and Davidson aren't that bad - I don't think they're as biased as Legard and Brundle

With a line-up like that for 5Live, I don't see why anybody would bother listening to those old farts on the beeb 001_rolleyes
I'll be watching Bruno Senna's performances relative to Karun and the Virgin boys. Not just that, but also how developed his race-craft is on track. He is my main interest because Ayrton once claimed "if you think I am fast wait till you've seen my nephew (bruno)". I'd like to see if this has real weight or was it simply said because he loves his nephew a lot.

In the lower categories flashes of brilliance have shone through, but nothing definitive. Ayrton Senna himself didnt show much in his junior days until he was just about to step into F1.

What about you folks, whom are you going to keep your eye on?
I will be interesting to watch MS, after leaving the sport for long i wish to see where he will end up. my second driver that i will wish to see is Kamui, 3rd is Massa, since we havent been seeing him racing after Hungary 09
I'll be watching Lucas di Grassi very closely Yes Drool

...and MS for the reasons jenni mentioned...

The rest I don't really know, apart from kamui
I think how Michael goes is most interesting and to see if he is still able to drive at or near his old level.

But with so many changes in line ups, new drivers and new teams there will be a lot of things to look at. Also be interesting to see how new rules play out and what strategies they choose.
I actually can't wait for the action to begin now Bp The winter season is way too long.

Personally, I'm going to be watching Michael Schumacher. Everyone's can mixed feelings on how he's going to perform and I have to say I am really curious. Is he going to fly or crawl? I think with all the possibilities, this season should be good one. I hope the majority of the cars are around the same pace so we see a good battle for the championship this year that goes right down to the final race. I hope Alonso wins the championship but I'm also hoping to see Webber and Vettel do well. I'm supporting Fernando for the drivers and Red Bull for the team, especially as the factory is just up the road.
Koybayashi just think he is one to watch seeing how he held up the Brawn last season for a few laps
schoelicker so i can see him fall and fall deeper into the ground
but honestly i just think this year will be real fun to watch lots of cheating and more cheating lol
Bruno Senna: Nephew of the legendary Ayrton Senna, what more reason do i need.Yes
I have updated the career statistics page for Fernando to reflect his latest points tally and other important statistic for the year.
