Renault have lodged an engine enhancement request
Although on the grounds of "reliability and cost reduction" they have lodged a engine enhancement request. You can bet they will be aiming to improve their Horse power. But is this a wise move since they enjoy a good fuel consumption rate? Probably not.
But they are doing it anyway. This is not going to enhance fuel consumption rates as technically improving power is easier than achieving mileage on a certain homologated spec. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

The FIA has approved most of Renault's engine enhancement requests on the ground of cost reduction and reliability improvements. FIA have rejected some outright fuel consumption improvement requests which will make an already highly fuel efficient engine even more fuel efficient. Performance gainers are obviously going to be rejected outright. But gains made under the claim of reliability improvements and cost reduction even if it they have merit, cannot be stopped completely.
