Korean GP raceday
![]() A lucky break for Alonso nets him a win without doing pretty much nothing but wait and take the gifts but it was clear Redbull could have won this with ease 1-2. Pity for vettel nothing ever goes right for him and webber made a clear error. But they are still good on their engine situation. Ferrari are not. Shamilton is now back in the title hunt. Anything can happen in the last race webber still has the best chance to win the title since vettel has a huge disadvantage. There was a lot of poltics being playing played about the drivability in the rain. Teams new the full wets the mclarens will be stronger so they played the "bad track" card. After it dried well enough mclaren full wets are gone and on inters the advantage is reduced to almost nothing. Hence shamilton complaining about why they are not racing already. Redbull and ferrari preferring to stall as much as possible before they can race. Not good for the sport. The sport looked like they are having sissies for drivers who cant handle a bit of water on track. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

![]() i guess the 1st part of the race all drivers fell asleep coz it was slooooooooooooooow and boring.. vettel's bad luck is not over yet which is good for fernando..haha yeah, the rain was not that bad when they resumed the race but still the saftey car was there!! i noticed lots of bad calls from the FIA and they investigate stupid issues during races! the star of the race was the safety car driver+ fernando alonso :) haha congratulations alonso and all his fans + ferrari fans.. Eh he kept it on the track which is more than can be said for Webber and many others - would it kill you to pay the guy a compliment once in a while? ![]() The quote about RBRs engine situation being good just after one of them has exploded in a race just makes me laugh though.... Red Bull yes....don't recall any complaints from Ferrari though ![]() Though I agree after the second start they could've brought the SC in at least 2-3 laps earlier... Anyways after waiting around for so long...well it was worth the wait - great race, never really a dull moment, mainly thanks to Sutil, lol. I was surprised by the error by Webber, like I mentioned somewhere on here earlier in the week, so far this year he's made very few of them....but I am glad that he made it lol. Couldn't believe it when Fernando took the lead....absolutely amazing - still can't believe he's won and on top of the standings Yeah, to a certain extent, it was a lucky win but we were definitely due some luck after certain races earlier in the year.....let's just hope this run of fantastic results keeps going for the final two races ![]() Kudos to Schumacher and Liuzzi too who both did solid races today too And yeah, a great drive by the SC driver too....he certainly earned his money today, lol

RE: Korean GP raceday
OK...I am too happy to read any complains or anything. A M A Z I N G way to start your morning!!!
![]() Well done to Fernando!!!! He was lucky today with the two Red bulls and...do I see FIRST place there???? W O W !!!!! So hard now for Fernando and Ferrari to keep focused. P.S.1: Ham. wanted to race and when he did...lost his place from Rosberg... ![]() P.S.2: Ferrari were very lucky with that awful pit stop mess... Ham. made it easier to them when he had that problem. P.S.3: Safety comes first. I recall many scary accidents during rain. They are not super heroes. They are common people. They may drive cars much better than from the past, but still scary to drive with 200plus klm per hour. Webber showed that with just a small move everything can be ruined. P.S.4: No one did actually much things except for Sutil who went out of track and got in, passed and was passed by others many many times. ![]() P.S.5: Is it my opinion or that race shouldn't take place yet? They weren't prepared at all! I saw vehicles, debris, mud everywhere. Not the perfect circuit to drive... And not many lights in the end. I know no circuit is to prepared for night conditions except Singapore, but still some headlights should be somewhere around. Or just my crazy idea...

RE: Korean GP raceday
I do second the idea about this is quite a lucky race for Fernando and Ferrari. I mean i dont even know how to value this race, 15 laps of race under scd, they were racing for 3 laps then another scd. So it was a mess. No one having advantage but i do believe if Vettel's engine did not blown out he wont be losing the 1st place. Forget abut the pig. He is just a clumsy wet pig LOL he has given a huge benefit for Fernando. But whos lucky and whos not is really not a problem here, in the end it was Fernando who cross the cheque flag and take the lead of the overall standing. I always believe a faster car should a race and the best team and driver should win the championship but in the end...
" To finish first... First you have to finish! " Unfortunately for RBR, they chose a wrong engine ( though Renault is the best choice out there in terms of fuel saving wise). No matter how powerful the design from Newey if the engine screw up you are no where to reach any greatest result. If Vettel have not suffer with many blown engines, i think he would have been a champ by now with quite a good gap in overall points count. So ya in a word.. Too bad ..............
I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh,
but I never knew looking back on the laughs would make me cry.

And the fact that the tarmac had not been laid down long probably didn't help the rain situation....perhaps they could have put some better draining in too, lolBut, in the end, I think it was well worth it so I won't complain too much

haha! Yes Chrissie. I don't complain about that much either. Just mentioned it. If things hadn't gone so well for Fernando I may have complained...
![]() And as jenni said in order to win you have to finish. So rather it is luck or not, the result counts.

Oh I loooove the new layout at the top of the page! Well done to anyone who did that!
I see "F1 2010 champion" been written there?? Consider erasing it. It may bring bad luck to him and lose the championship.

Couldn't agree with you more dear....I've been reading on other forums about how he only wins championships because he's lucky and other drivers just keep having mechanical failures, etc, etc. They seem to forget all the bad luck Fernando had earlier in the championship, particularly with SCs

RE: Korean GP raceday
OMG, I dont believe this!!
If this is true Webber should get a penalty! Or be kicked out of the championship!!Webber failed to brake on purpose - Berger Tuesday 26th October 2010, 17:25 Gerhard Berger, the former co-owner of Red Bull's sister team Toro Rosso, has accused Mark Webber of deliberately taking out Nico Rosberg during the Korean GP. However, the Austrian suggests it wasn't Rosberg that Webber had aimed to hit, but rather one of his title rivals; Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton. "He could have hit the brakes and stopped the car at the wall. He took out Rosberg, but it was the wrong one. I think in his mind he would have preferred Alonso or Hamilton," Berger told Servus TV. When he was asked to clarify if he thought Webber's failure to brake was on purpose, the former F1 driver replied: "Yes, I think that's very clear. "He goes off and he knows it's over. In this moment you're frustrated and a thousand thoughts go through your head. It's very obvious, you can see his wheels are not locked up. Perhaps he had a brake problem, but I don't think so." Rosberg, in principle, agreed. The German, who held fourth before the incident, also questioned why Webber didn't slam the brakes on when he hit the wall. "I don't understand why Webber didn't hit the brakes," he said on Twitter. "It was crazy to roll back across the track like that." |

RE: Korean GP raceday
that's strange....I mean Fernando was lucky indeed. He escaped the last moment from being hit by Webber and I saw that, but it seemed like Webber didn't have the control of the car at all. So it didn't seem strange to me. Anyway with Kavalainen in Valencia he did the same thing. Didn't hit the brakes and went on Kovalainen. I don't know...I doubt him thinking of all these stuff...

RE: Korean GP raceday
It's possible, but I really don't think Webber would do that kind of thing - I don't think he'd deliberately want to crash into someone - isn't he one of those drivers that's constantly going on about driver safety and stuff??
Then again, on the spur of the moment maybe he did consider it
