Korean GP Raceday
![]() Vettel destroys the Mclarens, no answer, its simple he is simple better even without having pole. Vettel overtook the pig without any DRS aid, both have KERS at best. The best moment came when Alonso bluffed he is giving up he never did, he was selling Mclaren a dummy in English Brilliant stuff Fernando. But unfortunate Massa was not easy to pass (no team orders here) otheriwse he could have been on podium he was the only man to match Vettel's pace lap after lap in the open free air.Petrov cost shoelicker his race, shame. Button was obviously shafted the whole weekend, they need to calm the dummy spitting troll whining at Mclaren about Button leading the team and acting cocky of late. Webber was brilliant but unfortunately the stupid DRS was placed in a place where someone who did a hard earned overtake without DRS just looses it because the loosing car takes it back easy with the DRS. It was a total farce. The detection zone should have been placed well ahead of that straight. The activation zone was put in the middle of the straight, really moronic way to make any use of DRS. The farce horse trophy goes to FIA for the pathetic event planning. Torro Roso scores big but its more a case of Mercedes not having the pace to make it count. Shame for Rosberg and then that accident for shoelicker. Man of the race? It has to be 'men' of the race, all 3 for them were great Vettel, Webber and Alonso. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

RE: Korean GP Raceday
I don't think Alonso was bluffing when he said "I give up"...he looked very dejected in the interview after the race
He said he'd done a whole stint of qualifying laps and when he eventually caught up, the team told him he only had two laps left so he said "I give up", that is, there's no more he could do He did a great race though, I don't think he could have done any better, which is kinda sad really....I thought that race was awfully dull though...very little overtaking even with the DRS and the tyres didn't go off like everyone was predicting, maybe it was just because last year was such a spectacle BTW, anyone else think Korea will turn out to be Turkey Part 2.....the grandstands all seemed to be half empty today, some looked almost completely empty ![]() Got to love the Schumacher/Petrov incident...what's that, the third or fourth time they've had a coming-together this year? ![]() I think most of the top 10 had a good race today so kudos to the lot of them (apart from Hamilton but maybe he should have a round of applause for not crashing into anything today...I was nearly sure that Webber battle was going to end in tears ) And at last, next race will finally be at a decent hour....these 7am starts on a Sunday morning don't agree with me at all

RE: Korean GP Raceday
Well, to be honest Fernando didn't bluff at all.
Quote:Fernando Alonso said that he gave up the chase for the podium positions in the Korean Grand Prix because he was too late joining the battle. He says that he did 20 QUALIFYING LAPS to reach the drivers in the front! That must have been hard for the car and him. Seriously, 20 laps? wow! That was when he ran fast and did fastest laps one after the other. As for the race, I saw that many many seats at the spectators were empty! Not many went! Plus, what do you mean about the time? Will it be later next year? And finally, Petrov got penalized for the incident he had. 5 places back for the next race. ![]() "Nobody said life was easy, but we were promised that the trip would be worthwhile .. RE: Korean GP Raceday
The thing is even after he said "he gives up" he was closing in on button and trying to for a dive up the inside anywhere possible. He never fell back from button. Seems liked a tactic to make mclaren inform button he could breath easy and try a shot at webber.
Meanwhile Martin shitmarsh can't bring himself to admit his dog was a not capable of matching sheer talent despite having the faster car for sometime now. He is pulling excuses out of his arse for this race. Apparently the swine lost 10 points of downforce in the first stint. yeah right, there was no damage on the front wing, If it had something lodged in it, it would have been checked thoroughly on the grid by the mechanics, that's routine practice. There was no contact at the start either.Infact the mclaren had better traction than the redbulls out of the 1st corner which was why webber could not make much head way even after passing the mclaren onto the long straight. Button genuinely had issues, he was not able to match the pace of either redbulls or the swine. That's understandable, he was subdued for this race to placate the pram rocking whiner. RE: Korean GP Raceday
I don't know...I don't think that he really gave up, I think maybe it was just a moment of frustration that even with all that effort he could still only just about match the speed of the other guys...I must say I've never ever known him to give up on anything before, it was certainly very uncharacteristic of him to say something like that but the idea that he said it to give McLaren a false sense of security doesn't really wash with me

RE: Korean GP Raceday
I still believe he had nothing else to give there... :-/
The truth is tried a little bit more to get closer to Button after that, but I guess it was just Button going slower and Fernando keeping his pace.

No offended with what I said, but I have never heard any driver ever claim they 'give up' especially on team radio. I was kind of astounded to be honest. Ya so am late in replying this. Sorry I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh,

Yes, I completely agree...not even in the 08/09 years did he ever say anything like that (to our knowledge, of course). So I guess I can see where the idea of him doing it as a way to lull McLaren into a false sense of security comes from ![]() I don't know....that Fernando can be a hard nut to crack sometimes

RE: Korean GP Raceday
People were laughing at DC for suggesting this but think about it, Button is facing a fight from Alonso, so if Alonso has 'given up' he can more freely target webber making it a psychological warfare to try see if Button gets caught up webber in some tangle that can then net him a podium. Alonso is relentless, ruthless, cunning and would try anything to get his way.

Still, even if it is a strategy wise I still have hard time to believe it that these days they even use mind strategic over team radio
