Impressive first attempt by Alonso to get pole. But the straight advantage that Mclaren have is considerable. Any small mistake at the start will mean Button snatches the lead. even otherwise race pace is stronger for Mclaren so it will be very close at the start.

Shamilton's choice to run the non F-duct setup has not paid off for the swine.

Mclaren have middle sector advantage over anyone.

Redbull pace on hard and soft tyres vanished, either they gambled onto different setups or they changed their setup choices completely. They seems to be higher on down-force and low on top speed.

"We divide Q3 into two runs and the first run was to put a good lap on the table and then in the second and third runs we tried to risk it a little more," he added. "And sometimes here in Monza it's quicker when you try to do a normal lap. The time is better than when you try to risk too much in these tricky chicanes, in these fast corners, with this low downforce. It's very easy to overdrive a little bit. But the first lap in the end was the best one, because maybe you do it in a calmer way."

The truth is that I thought the same at that moment, that Button would pass him and I was like: NOOO!! haha! Thankfully Fernando did it his way today! Well done Fernando!

And you got to salute Mark Webber, his final run is perfect! Renault engine is weakest in horse power and thats their disadvantage, bit he has pull an amazing lap ! awesome for him too. haha piggy choice has screw him up, and thank to him Button out qualified him

Why waste time when you just can go out and get it right away, then he can go back to his trailer kick back and wait for the race and wipe the floor with the rest of them in the race aswell.
