Nothing but the usual services, 2nd practice will reveal more.

The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king.

RE: Hungarian GP 1,2 & 3 practice
I watched both practice sessions and was amazed by how much both McLarens struggled, I thought they'd have much better set-ups and more balance but they were pretty bad today. Them bloody Red Bulls, man alive, they were so sandbagging it was untrue, even on heavy fuel-loads they were wiping the floor with everyone else.

It's going to take a miracle for anything other than a Red Bull lock-out and a one-two finish............Hmmm

Is there a Witch in the house..........?? Wink

RE: Hungarian GP 1,2 & 3 practice
I didn't see so Hmmm i don't know if it Mclaren struggling or running heavy loads, they don't expect to challenge Redbull obviously like they hoped but i think they can beat Ferrari their main concern is Redbull. Mclaren always have the race pace, last track is just one track that suited Ferrari and didn't suit Mclaren. It wont happen all time. Lets see what Ferrari can do this weekend Hmmm

Not sure where to post this so I thought I'd do it here as Webbo said it today............

Quote:Mark Webber insists Fernando Alonso was a deserving winner of the German Grand Prix and Ferrari were correct to implement team orders, despite Red Bull boss Christian Horner criticising the move. "It's happened so many times since '02," the Australian said. "For the victory it's a different thing, but the people who think it's the first time it's happened are absolutely dreaming."

Full story: Autosport.com

Jenson Button has said he will quit F1 if team orders are re-introduced 001_rolleyes and rain is expected for quali tomorrow................

Then why is he complaining that they gave Vettel the wing? He is contradicting what he claims before.

After watching that session, I don't think McLaren are sandbagging - they'll be lucky to beat Renault Laugh Though they probably will have better race pace but if they have a poor qualifying well that's their race screwed anyway Laugh

RE: Hungarian GP 1,2 & 3 practice
Renault have shown pace in practice and they fall off in qualifying. Mclaren only need to be right behind Ferrari and their faster starts will always be a problem for anyone infront of them.

The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king.

Not in Monaco they didn't - they only just missed out on pole if I recall correctly Hmmm - this circuit is similar to Monaco, no? Plus Renault always tend to run pretty well here.....go back 7 years and see who won then Wink

RE: Hungarian GP 1,2 & 3 practice
Talking specifically about this years practice sessions. The track is similar in the low average speed but track characteristics are not like Monaco at all. Redbull wasn't dominant at Monaco this year it was close right till the end even if Webber took pole.
