Hulkenberg to leave Williams
Quote:The 23-year-old German, who clinched his maiden pole position in Brazil a week ago - the team's first in five years, announced this morning that he will leave the team. Am bit surprise really, i mean well overall he is not really bad right? So lol why retain Rubens over Hulk?

RE: Hulkenberg to leave Williams
Daniel Ricciardo was in class of his own as he dominated the timesheets on the opening day of the young drivers test in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
The Red Bull rookie was nearly 1.5 seconds quicker than the next fastest driver on the track and his best time of 1:39.616 was just 0.222 off Sebastian Vettel's pole position time the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In fact, his time would've seen him qualify P3 behind Vettel and Lewis Hamilton on Sunday. The 21-year-old Australian, who is the reserve driver for both Red Bull and sister team Toro Rosso in 2010, admitted before the two-day test that there were pressure on him to perform in Abu Dhabi following an excellent showing last year. "There will be more expectations," he told the Australian Associated Press. "Last year's test went well and now having spent a year with them, they'll expect pretty solid feedback. There is more pressure on me to be fastest, especially as the team has won the Constructors' Championship and everyone knows it's probably the fastest car out there nine times out of ten - but I just want to enjoy it, that's the main thing. Not many 21-year-old kids can drive the fastest car around." McLaren's Oliver Turvey was next fastest with a 1:41.094 with Antonio Félix da Costa, one of two Force India drivers who tested on the first day, a further 0.287 off his pace. Esteban Gutierrez from Sauber and Renault's Mikhail Aleshin completed the top five with a 1:41.834 and 1:42.073 respectively. Ferrari's Jules Bianchi was down in 10th place - more than four seconds off Ricciardo best effort - while Pastor Maldonado, who has been linked with a move to either Williams or Hispania next year, was 11th fastest with a 1:43.940. Alguersuari could not finish the season better. Finished in the points in the disastrous last race for Ferrari, in which the team threw down the drain all the work done during the last twelve months. But Alguersuari finished in the points, ahead of his teammate Sebastian Buemi and public praise of the chief technical officer of Red Bull, "team parent" of Toro Rosso, who said that Vettel will be part of the title. "If Ferrari had not seen that Mark Webber was losing time behind him and it was possible to stop Fernando Alonso to change tires and get out ahead of Mark, surely Alonso had stayed on track, following Button's wheel and would have finished fourth and would now be celebrating the title, "according to El Mundo Deportivo. The work of this season has not gone desaparcibido Jaime for the mandarins of Red Bull, which in 2011 will no longer have to Webber, along with Ferrari, the two big losers in Abu Dhabi. Thus, according to the newspaper today contains brand, it is possible that the Austrian team has the Spanish from 2011. Alguersuari, under contract with the subsidiary until 2013, could identify a car to be translated to make him really be competitive and fight face to face with Fernando Alonso and Ferrari from 2011. In Spain it would be spectacular. The sixth would rub their hands. 'Alonso' and 'Alguersuaristas', face to face. Football can shake. I dont understand this...does this report say that Alguersuari will race alongside fernando in 2011 or with Vettel.

RE: Hulkenberg to leave Williams
Renault car has better straight line speed and Abu Dhabi is really tough to overtake. My personal view is, holding up Alonso on that particular race did not prove him as the best one out there

RE: Hulkenberg to leave Williams
I'd have thought Alguersuari would go to Red Bull, if Ferrari took a young driver I would guess it would be one from their young drivers programme or whatever it's called.

Alguersuari would go to Red Bull? I dont really think he has done anything significant to prove his talent, unless this is again has to do with sponsorship?

RE: Hulkenberg to leave Williams
I just meant in general if anyone went to Red Bull, it would be someone from Toro Rosso or one of the drivers programme. I saw a picture of Helmut Marko talking to a driver the other day who is part of some kind of programme, I just can't remember who
I don't rate Alguersuari either. He's alright but I haven't seen anything amazing that I can remember

Actually Senna also not really quite there for this season, am not sure he has chance to come back. He still more time i guess, but i would love to see these year rookies to stay on another year. For example Chandhok

RE: Hulkenberg to leave Williams
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
![]() Hulkenbreg to replace Massa (I HATE HULK) ![]() Hulk has not done anything all season, except brazil where he got lucky...why not Webber or Kubica move to Ferrari??? ![]() ![]() http://www.motorgoo.es/noticia/formula-1...12501.html Nico Hulkenberg. November 19, 2010 - 15:06 h Fernando Ballester The bad season, Felipe Massa (Ferrari) is being used by some managers of pilots to try to put his players at Ferrari, as was the case and represented Willi Weber, Nico Hulkenberg. The pole that the German signed in the Brazilian Grand Prix earned him not to renew with Williams, but is serving as an asset to your agent find a place in the Big Circus. " Thus, the Italian newspaper Autosprint says the 'Scuderia' has come a proposal for Hulkenberg is the replacement for Felipe Massa. For now, from Maranello are deaf to these offers, since mid-season the Brazilian renewed until 2012, so it is highly unlikely that you now seek replacement. In any case, Massa another poor season could jeopardize their seats. |

It might be just a rumors. No official news yet. Lets wait and see. I dont think Ferrari is going to take Webber, his racing is over after RBR. Kubica yes, huge chances there.

RE: Hulkenberg to leave Williams
Kubica to Ferrari with Alonso?
Kubica will destroy Alonso. Alonso will talk the talk now about how he can cope with vettel or anyone else, thats just rhetoric. But reality is Kubica showed he is well past what Alonso achieved in 2009 in the Renault. The only thing that stopped Kubica from winning races was the fact there were not 1, not two, but 3 winning teams fighting for wins. So its hard to grab on misfortune for just 1 of the rival teams. The guard is changing. No one can stay on top for long. And its highly doubfull if a hot head like Kubica who gets what he demands will bow down to the "Santander is faster than you, can you confirm?" bullshit. This is the reality. There are two drivers who are already equal if not already quicker than Alonso. Alonso was ragged and inconsistent through out 2010. And the sheer lack of quality in some of the wins, like Korea (anyone can take bread crumbs), hockenhiem to name a few, Then costly errors like spinning out of the race in Spa, Jumping the starts etc If this trend continues in 2011 thats the sign Alonso is unable to keep up or is loosing his edge to these new young guns. Its nothing sad its just the way it is. Soon these young guns will be beaten by future young guns. So on and so forth. Prious it always duopoly, Hakkienen Vs shoelicker, or shoelicker vs Alonso, Kimi vs shoelicker. Thats not the case anymore. Now we have Webber vs Vettel vs Alonso vs Button, vs shamilton vs Nico vs Kubica. Its going to be very very tough to rely on talent alone because there are others who are probably more skilled and just waiting to get even better with time. Thats not all teams are also fighting hard at the front. Time and the effects of age are not on Alonso's side. he will need to rely on the car being extra stronger than the rest from now on. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.
