RE: Fernando winter break news
Quote:"I think there was never such a difference between myself and my team-mate. I actually don't understand this statement at all.....he had essentially twice as many points as Fisichella when they were at Renault together in 2006 and that was with the old points system too ![]() I'm going to try look up the original interview and see if I can make any sense out of it

If you get to find the original interview take a look, but this is from a trusted english channel which had translated the spanish interview. It is strange, because as you said, he always was way ahead Fisichella. Maybe he wants to point out that he was ahead of Massa despite the Germany thing.

RE: Fernando winter break news
Here's the original quote:
Quote:"Seguramente la diferencia ha sido la más grande que he tenido nunca con un compañero y esto me alegra por los resultados que he tenido en las dos últimas temporadas." Translated: Certainly, the difference has been the greatest that I have ever had over any team-mate and that makes me happy considering the results I have had in the past two seasons Source: ondacero.es So it would seem that he did say that Very strange - he never said anything like that about Fisichella.....seems to me he's kind of saying "Look Felipe I kicked your ass"...hate to say it but that quote makes him sound a little bit arrogant - unless anyone else can find another way of interpreting it???

RE: Fernando winter break news
He sounds arrogant, yes. Probably what I told you. He wants to point out that "Fernando is faster than you" or not he would still be ahead of Massa. That is what I think.

RE: Fernando winter break news
Yes jenni that is a direct quote from the original interview with Onda Cero (you can see the source I gave was their official website) - strange as it seems those were his exact words (and I did translate them properly too!!)

RE: Fernando winter break news
hmmm I am no in the position to question what he said, I am just curious though. It more like it wasn't his real words at all.

RE: Fernando winter break news
hahaha! Moment of the year Heikki the fireman....
I totally agree! But I have to say Vettel "shooting" himself when he crashed with Webber is also one of the moment's of the year. I agree with Kobayashi as well. And driver of the year Vettel because winning so young the world championship between so many talented men yeah it is an achievement. And Loeb? Not Kimi???? hahaha! Joking....
