F1 team budgets reduced a bit in 2009

Another information to back up just how desperate Ferrari where in securing Santander money, they are spending significantly less out of their total budget with most of it coming from sponsors. This is no surprise, many people think Ferrari are rich and they fund their entire team, which was never the case. They dont sell cars by the volume road cars do to make such large profits to fund majority of their F1 program.

Toyota spent the most as their sponsors contributed lesser to their over all budget. Mclaren will suffer a lot in the coming years as Mercedes's financial input was substantial. But when a team has clever people like Newey or even low budget projects can be winners. That is something Mclaren & some others have been lacking for a while now.
