Brailian GP qualifying

I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh,

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
Well I wasn't expecting that, Hulkenberg on pole! That makes a change, I would have prefered to have seen Alonso but rather him then any of the other contenders. Shame for Alonso but hopefully Red Bull won't be able to run away into the distance with the Hulk in front and he'll be able to fight for the win anyway

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
Oh crap.....lowest of the (realistic) champpionship contenders - not a good qualifying
The only tiny positive thing is that at least we're on the clean side but that's not much consolation for me at the moment anyway I think to really have a chance at this championship we needed to finish ahead of Webber (or worse case just one position behind him) but I don't think that's going to happen now and that's really depressed me ![]() But I've got to say what a fantastic pole for Hulkenberg - totally unexpected and beat the RBRs by nearly a second Well done Nico ![]() ....oh, and I think it's pretty safe to say at this stage that Button is officially out of the WDC fight

No prob Chrissie, chances still out there. 5th is nothing, it can be sort with pit stop , longer run and first lap itself. I am positive about this.

Qualy wasn't ideal but anything can happen in the race and we will have to hope that it's a positive outcome for Fernando Also with Webber and Vettel still having issues with each other perhaps they might take each other out in the first corner, or is that too hopeful?

Well yes. Jenni is right. And plus the rain... You saw what happened in Korea... I am not saying that miracles can happen twice, but I think luck owes Fernando, don't you think?

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
Hulk i think maximum can last only 4 laps or 5. His care really not as fast we think on race day. Fernando has huge chance there

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
Great minds think alike ali - that was exactly my thoughts immediately after quali ![]() Thanks for trying to show me the positives guys but it hasn't really worked - as far as I know it's supposed to be a dry race tomorrow meaning overtaking will be pretty much impossible plus it's quite likely that Fernando's going to have yet another bad start and end up 6th or 7th by the first corner - or worse maybe someone will crash into him. And witch, I think it would be too much for good luck to strike Fernando again before the end of the season - I know he was due some after the shocking luck he had in the first half of the season but I think we can say he's certainly been more than paid back by lady luck now especially after Korea - if he's going to win it now I feel he needs to win on merit, if you know what I mean - he has to be at his absolute best and have the fastest car and as we all know, he does not have the latter I know I'm being kind of negative and I apologise for that but after quali I'm starting to see the title slip away again ![]() I don't want to bring you guys down with me though so I won't post anything more in this section til I'm feeling more positive

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
ITs worked perfect for alonso, hasnt it?
Hulks on pole, Vettel/webber/ham/alo are all covered by 8 points if they finished 2nd-5th and hulk wins, meaning alonso loses 8 points to vettel, 5 to webber and 2 to hamilton. Alonso will jump hamilton, so he would loose 5 to vettel and 3 to webber. I reckon vettel will either crash into webber or Hulk will let him through and back the rest up. If alonso finishes second to webber in Brazil, then webber has 3 points over alonso in 3rd, meaning an 8 point gap. Webber MUST win abu dhabi with alonso in 3rd or below, and Alonso has his freshest engine for abu dhabi, and its a ferrari track. Alonso is in incredibly good shape. ![]() Yes, I made that myself. If you want one making, hit me a message up and tell me the image you want. Ill do it ya! |

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
You never know what happens... That is correct. Plus that I do think that things are very hard now for Fernando for the championship. But still...you never know!

RE: Brailian GP qualifying
No rain for tomorrow
it will be a boring race if nothing happens at turn 1... I think the red bulls will easily overtake hulk and alonso will struggle to get past lewis, and kubica will be coming from behind. fernando will finish 5th or 6th (if lucky) Nothing exciting will happen if the top four don't crash.
