Alonso voted "Best Active Driver" by his peers
Quote:That was in Formula 1 never: BILD am SONNTAG all current drivers, an envelope with six questions was pressed into his hand and promised that the answers will be treated anonymously. Apologies for the crap google translation...don't speak a word of german ![]() If you click on the link below you can see a table towards the bottom of the page that shows how the voting went...and you can see that Fernando won "best active driver" by quite a margin Don't know why Bild thought that was surprising though Bild.de I really want to know who voted Nico Rosberg as "most beautiful woman in F1"

some common sense in f1? Voted Fernando as best active driver? At last! And are you serious? Someone voted Rosberg? As if we didn't know... Yeah, so hard to figure out who did it... A close friend perhaps?

RE: Alonso voted "Best Active Driver" by his peers
As far as Nico is concerned...wasn't it Webber who was the first driver to start calling him "britney"...perhaps it was him??
![]() Notice that Scherzinger also got two votes as the most beautiful woman....I know one person who voted for her... but who was the other?? Are they blind??

Nico Rosberga sure is quite the lady eh?
The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

RE: Alonso voted "Best Active Driver" by his peers
No surprise to me that he is voted Best Active Driver. Now if only Ferrari had gotten that piece of junk he is driving to work properly and Charlie Whiting not been on his back all the time he could have been a challenger for the title.

Vettel - yet to prove he can overtake....Webber - good but can be inconsistent.....Hamilton - .....Button - see Webber.....Rosberg - good but still wouldn't say he was the best....Schumacher - eh, no......Kubica - possibly has the potential but is still pretty much unproven, albeit that's mainly due to a lack of a competitive car in his career so far....the rest aren't really worth writing home about so I don't see what the problem here is?? And isn't Alonso being the best driver not the reason why you are here in the first place?? ![]() And I thought he was voted third in one of those FIA surveys....and it was more to do with who you were a fan of than driver ability...certainly it wasn't a survey of the F1 drivers opinions - so still not seeing the point here?? ![]() Y me ayuda pintar transparente el dolor con su sonrisa Perfer et obdura, dolor hic tibi proderit olim |

RE: Alonso voted "Best Active Driver" by his peers
Ok.
This season has been a DISASTER for us. I dare anyone to challenge me on that one. I have always maintained that 2010 would always be the installation lap of Alonso's Ferrari career, I remain resolute on that. My only concern is the mistakes he has made, the pressure he has felt and the consequences of those mistakes. Just so you know, it has taken me about 2 minutes to type this sentence.............and it really REALLY hurts me to say this and not because of who he is and what happened in 2007, but because I'm betraying my hero. Lewis Hamilton is the best active driver right now. In an inferior car comparitive to the RBs he has made the most of every opportunity, he has taken his chances and that is why even in a shit 2009, he is the best active driver right now. ![]() All in all though, Alonso is still the best driver in F1, just not statistically........... ![]() Siempre.......... |

RE: Alonso voted "Best Active Driver" by his peers
Shamilton? You have to be seriously on some mixed up channels for F1 there. Everything the pig has done is under unequal machinery and favored strategies. Button is merely hoping things will fall his way. His smoke and mirrors smile wont last long when he realizes things are exactly how Alonso and Hekkie mentioned it would be. Button is doing the same thing Alonso thought he could do, use sheer talent to beat useless 2nd rate craps like pig which has favorable technical support. But at Mclaren talent fails and favored puppets will always look good.
Its been 10 races and Button is still not getting a good setup, but lo and behold a brain dead idiot like shitmilton gets balance right mot of the time. Button was one of the major factors in Honda/Brawn's setup choices. Everytime there were problems he used to get around them. It maybe 1 or two races and then he gets it better for himself even if he is not setting the tracks alight. But at Mclaren oh setups will never get fine if your name is not Shitmilton. Shitmilon is one of the worst pile of garbage to ever enter F1, even a donkey can win a car that is fast and the number in a team and their only focus. It is a myth that this year's Mclaren is a slow car it is one of the best cars right after Redbull, so if anyone is trying to make it look like the swine is battling all odds its the pathetic british media. Because the machinery they have is no slouch. The best active drivers this season so far are closely tied between Vettel, Webber and Button. Vettel for producing laps when it really matters rather being consistently aiming for show boating times. Button for dealing with unequal support and 2nd class treatment from Mclaren. Making strategic choices instantly when situation changes. Otherwise Mclaren have pretty much been able to cripple him so vile swine doesnt moan. Webber for showing how underrated he really is and can take the fight to drivers like vettel. The rest have all made too many errors this season or have not shown anything spectacular. I am not putting Nico Rosberg as surprise of the season because it really is a case of shoelicker being really out of touch. They are not even closely matched. Nico has clobbered Sheolicker. We know Shoelicker can do better than that even without 1st class treatment like the Mclaren pig. So this is changing, by the end of the season someone will emerge the clear best active driver for this season. For the current generation on the grid that is definitely Fernando Alonso, but this season he has been below his best standards. The Alonso of 2004, 2005 and 2006 is definitely missing. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

And this is exactly why I didn't want to say anything.
Great. Shamilton? You have to be seriously on some mixed up channels for F1 there Insulting me is only half my issue. The fact that I'm casting my opinion and have to be humiliated is another thing.
