RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
i personally think that kobayashi was better than glock..
The chance that Timo Glock will be fit to return to the wheel of his Toyota in Abu Dhabi this weekend is "90 per cent", according to the German driver's manager. On Monday, Glock is scheduled to have medical tests to assess his return to fitness. According to his manager Hans Bernd Kamps, Glock's chances of racing this weekend are "90 per cent", the German news agency DPA said. If not given the green light for Abu Dhabi, Glock's number 10 Toyota will again be raced by team reserve driver Kamui Kobayashi. (http://www.yallaf1.com) KEEP SMILING ONE DAY LIFE WILL SMILE BACK |

Well said jenni thats the same as i thought
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's. (Ayrton Senna) true fans stick around no matter what |

RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
Bernie's money is 'buying' the respect for the track, just like how these high paying tracks all do at first.
Respect is earned not bought, we have too many crappy tracks which have been hyped up at the start and then later proven to be duds and utters bores. Valencia Singapore China Now we have Abu Dhabi. Prove it on track and then fans will respect it. Fancy buildings on the side never does anything for the fans. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
Unlikely as the driver themselves agree to what is obvious, to many large braking zones where there can be only 1 optimum entry line. Moving of course means seriously hampering the laptimes.
Its too much of a technical track where the engineers need to work over time to find balance between low downforce sections and high downforced sections of the track. Drivers will be more mindful of their laptimes than actual gusty racing. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
Unfortunately chrissie thats how it looks for the moment.
Seeing how crappy some tracks are we are desperate to be proven wrong this time around, but that maybe too much to ask for these days. Raikkonen: "My last Grand Prix with Ferrari"
i'll miss kimi.. let's wait and see where he'll be racing next season.. also BMW will race for the last time... all the best
Kimi Raikkonen speaks on the eve of his final Grand Prix with Ferrari: "The race in Abu Dhabi will be my last Grand Prix with Ferrari and as usual I will give it everything to gain the best possible result. We’ll try to conclude this difficult year with a good result, hoping that it will be enough to gain the third place in the Constructors’ Championship, McLaren took over in Brazil. It will be difficult, because the competition is very strong. Furthermore in Brazil the two Titles have been assigned, so maybe there are certain drivers, who will risk a little bit more, as everything has been decided already. Our direct competitors are still improving their car, while we have been using the same car since the race in Hungary at the end of July. There are many expectations as far as the Yas Marina circuit is concerned, but it’s difficult making any predictions, because we’re racing there for the first time. As far as we can see the organisers have done some great work and the circuit seems to me very interesting and challenging. Furthermore there will be a very special challenge, given the fact that we’ll start the race in sunlight, while it will end with artificial lights: this will definitely add some suspense. As I wrote before, it’s time for me to say good-bye to the guys at Ferrari after three years together. I’m proud of the things we achieved, especially the Drivers’ Title in 2007 and the Constructors’ title in the same year and in 2008. This season the car wasn’t as competitive as we wanted, but at least we managed to win one race and we gained a certain amount of points. Let’s hope we can conclude the season with something nice to be remembered!" and the most important Renault set to bid farewell to Fernando Alonso http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/ne...1303.shtml KEEP SMILING ONE DAY LIFE WILL SMILE BACK |

RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
It sure will be emotional, two championships and the only team ready to offer a decent refuge from Mclaren after 2007.
But Renault had it's chance and they blew it by hiring morons and went cheap on salary for engineers. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
You can see here in this video of Burno Senna taking to the track and how the pitlane exit is both annoying and a safety hazard for recovery.
This track is proving to be more and more of a lunacy than creativity. The real Mclaren died in 2006, the king is dead, long live the king. Aryton SENNA, the 1 and ONLY I'll be there to personally to slap michael shoe-licker when the "Farting Horse" empire falls and its years of cheating exposed.

RE: Abu Dhabi GP Chat
yeah, the pitlane will coz some problems as it's under a tunnel so in case of an accident, it'll be very difficult to remove the car and also as it's the first race there, they may be little slow and don't know what to do..
hope to see a good race there!! KEEP SMILING ONE DAY LIFE WILL SMILE BACK |
